First visit. Upon entering was impressed how well organized and clean the market is. For a medium size market it has an impressive amount of inventory. The variety of frozen items is impressive. I had a hard time to decide what brand of shui mai and steam buns to buy as there were many options. Also found brands of tofu and kim chee that I've never seen before. Vegetable produce section is small, but most of the items are fresh enough. The bag of bok choy I bought was farm fresh, low priced. Of course the big surprise here is the fresh whole fish selection. Hundreds of fish just plopped on wood crates covered in chunk ice in the middle of the aisle. No fish monger to help decide which fish to select. Gave the ready to eat hot food kiosk a look. Everything there was dark brown, sloshy sauced stews or deep fried to death whatever that to me were completely unappetizing. Check out cashier was friendly. My bag of 8 items cost a whopping $20. A definite YES I will return experience.

Lots and lots of great things! Reasonably priced. Lots of fresh fish and a whole ready to eat counter. Very crowded, parking lot is not made to handle the traffic.

This is a great place to pick up Asian/Chinese ingredients when in a pinch. BUT, if you want things like wood ear and snow fungus/mooncakes/rice dumplings and other special ingredients and items for Chinese specific holidays... those will be difficult to find here. They do have all the basic ingredients you can find though... sauces, noodles, desserts galore!! They even have an assortment of rice flours!! I love their snack selections and canned fruit. A plus:: red envelopes and lucky candy were readily available! Service is great! When I couldn't find anything, the staff was very helpful! Ambiance was nice. Very clean store and the bathrooms were also incredibly clean!

This Filipino market has grown through the 10+ years of its existence. It started as a market selling Filipino grocery items, then evolved by adding a kitchen vending "turo-turo" viands from renowned Pinoy cuisine like lechon kawali and lumpiang shanghai to the lesser known dishes like ginataang langka (unripe jackfruit in coconut stew) and mechadong baka (beef stew). Still a convenient place to buy ingredients for Filipino recipes but remains pricey with staples like vegetables and rice.

Yes, as an island boy, I always try to stop by The Oriental Market when I can. There is just so much to choose from. My choice if precise is always the Manapua (Pork Bun). The are very big, yummy and hit the spot. Okay, I'll admit that there are not the kind we used to get at the truck at Sandy Beach (Sandy's) on Oahu back in the 70s, but these are definitely better the ones at my local L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. Obviously, they do run out, which is a bummer, so try and get there early. The store is always crowded, which is obvious. My only puzzling issue is they don't have Guava: fresh, frozen, or otherwise. That being said, if you're looking for some yummy food, snacks, ingredients, stop by here.

I usually go to South Sac or North Sac for my asian foods and snacks but now that I live in the Roseville area, I have been coming here instead. It doesn't have everything I need but for the most part it satisfies my cravings. You will find me in the snack aisle which also has a variety of drinks that I have had since childhood. I love that they have a produce and seafood section as well. They have pompano fish which I am going to learn how to cook one day. I definitely will come here as often as I can. The store is clean and everyone seems nice. Only complaint is that the lines can get really long and since it's a small store, it starts at the seafood area and can take up some place where people shop. Not much can be done but it works.
